Greg Stacy’s FAT LOT OF GOOD

Who is he, this man called Greg?

Hi. My name is Greg Stacy, and I’m a regular contributor to OC Weekly and OC Metro. I’ve been writing for OC Weekly since it began in 1995, and in recent years I’ve also been contributing to LA Weekly and other papers, magazines and websites. Since 2002 I’ve been content editor for the sci-fi/horror news site, Darkworlds. This site will showcase some of my published writing, and will also serve as an ongoing blog.

  1. Greg Stacy is the comic genius of our time! You must read one of his stories if you want a really good laugh (and you just might learn something too!). And I might add that he’s smoking-hot too!

  2. Of course, the fact that my girlfriend wrote this doesn’t alter the essential truth of what she’s saying.

  3. Greg,

I just came upon your blog, and the mention of my fax (1997) looking for bands for the film ‘Just Write’.

It was my first film as a Music Supervisor. And my only time dealing with 6 dentists simultaneously.

Talk about a win-win situation: We ended up filling the film with 22 unsigned bands. All of whom have benefitted with ASCAP and BMI payments since the film’s release.

    Thanks again.

  4. Hi there Greg-
I just read your article “Onward Christian Soldiers” and now I can go to sleep. I had been intrigued as to the replacement of the splotchy Gene with his more attractive protege, and when I finally got around to looking for details on this the internet, I encountered a similar type of haze that you describe in your article. Only I didn’t go to LA. Because I found your article. Now I just want to see one of Barbi’s videos. Also the Herzog thing.
    Anyways, good article.
